The Hensel Eckman YMCA of Pulaski has unveiled their newly renovated basketball court that is now open for activities.
According to Roland Tucker, Radford University’s intern with the YMCA and summer program director, those changes include brand new rims on every goal, new energy efficient lighting, as well as a freshly sanded floor. Tucker said the renovations have the gym looking its best since the YMCA first opened its doors.
The staff at the YMCA worked around the clock this past Memorial Day weekend to get the gym in perfect condition to be ready for the public. The brand new court is just one of many shining aspects at the YMCA, as the facility will be hosting a multitude of other programs and activities this year.
