He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Smith Wilson; daughter, Monica W. Shumate and her husband, Robert, of Roanoke, Va. along with his pride and joy granddaughter, Meghan; brother, Perry L. Wilson of Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Martha Ann Farmer of Richmond, Va. and Alice Faye Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla.
Nathan was never happier than when he was selling cars, making friends, and garnering life-long customers, which he did for 47 years. The first 34 years, he was the General Manager for Dick Price Ford, and continued his joy of being a car salesman in Pulaski County until recently.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Hall officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Seagle Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Dublin United Methodist Church.
