Lester W. Hayden

Lester W. Hayden, 66, of Pulaski, Va. passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was born in Giles County, Va. to the late John Hayden Sr. and Nannie P. Chapman Hayden. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Hayden Jr., sisters, Edna Hayden, Annie Hayden Craft and two daughters, Ronda Dale Carter and Brenda Cooke. 

He is survived by daughters, Linda Carter-Fields of Greensboro, N.C., Wanda K. Primm of Md., Kimberly D. Hayden of Tenn., and son, John A. Hayden of Radford, Va.; three brothers, Ira (Iris), and Baldwin Hayden and Roger Wagner; 17 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Pulaski, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held in Pinehurst Cemetery.

    lester was definitely a great man I was shocked to see this I worked with him on the rescue squad he was a great friend and never met a stranger the community will miss this wonderful man but heaven gained a great angel
