A judge Thursday held off deciding whether a five-year-old child is competent to testify against the 25-year-old Dublin man accused of sexually battering her a year ago.
Earlier this month, a motions hearing in the aggravated sexual battery case of Anthony Michael Fiore was continued until Thursday. The purpose of the motion is to allow Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Marcus Long Jr. to meet with the alleged victim and determine whether the child is of sufficient age to understand the difference between right and wrong and being truthful and untruthful.
