Preschoolers at Critzer Elementary got the rare opportunity to learn about motorcycles with an up close and personal demonstration from actual Harley Davidson riders on Thursday morning.
Ericka Lytton, whose class has been studying motorcycles for the past couple of weeks, pulled the special demonstration together with the help of her stepfather, Jimmy Bass. Bass, who is a member of the Old Dominion H.O.G. Chapter of Wytheville, rounded up some of his fellow club members to give the children a one-of-a-kind learning experience.
The H.O.G. chapter of Wytheville rode to Critzer Elementary for the students to experience the roar and rumble of Harley Davidson motorcycles. The children were even given the chance to sit on the seats of the motorcycles, as well as honk the horns and rev the engines, while the riders showed them the other features their bikes had to offer.
