Thyme to Grow Greenhouse opens in Dublin

Thyme to grow Greenhouse of Dublin, owned and operated by Michael and Wendy Worrell, officially opened for business on Tuesday, April 1.

The grand opening was marked with a ribbon cutting by Nick Rush, assisted by the Worrells’ youngest son, Bryson. The greenhouse is new to the area in name only, and is the former Allison’s Greenhouse, which was owned and operated by Walter and Emily Dobyns for 36 years.

According to Wendy, the Worrells wish to honor their legacy by continuing to provide quality plants at reasonable prices. Since it is being run as a family business, the Worrells are getting lots of help from their parents, Marvin and Wanda Foushee and Agnes and Charles Smith, as well as their sons, Bryant and Bryson.
