Stacey Jenkins Kerns, age 41, of Christiansburg, Va. died Friday evening, April 25, 2014 at LewisGale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born on July 11, 1972, and is the daughter of Wayne R. Jenkins Sr. and Mary Linda Hall. She is preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Denise Jenkins, grandparents, Henry and Estelle Jenkins, grandfather, William Hall, and a half-brother, Jeffery Bentley.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse K. Kerns of Christiansburg; two sons, Jordan K. Kerns of Christiansburg, Va., and Makelston K. Kerns of Christiansburg, Va.; parents, Wayne R. Jenkins Sr. of Pulaski, Va. and Mary Linda Hall of Pulaski, Va.; stepmother, Martha Carolyn Jenkins of Pulaski, Va.; two brothers, Wayne Ray Jenkins Jr. of Wythe County, Va. and Michael Dale Jenkins of Floyd County, Va.; grandmother, Ruth Hall of Pulaski, Va.; mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Jesse Kerns of Pulaski, Va.; and sisters-in-law, Monique Adkins and her husband Anthony of Shiloh, Va. and Tangie Akers of Pulaski, Va., half-sisters, Brenda Diane Bell, Wise, Va., Jamie Irene Kirkpatrick, of Bristol, Va., and Robin Renee Collins, of Greenville, Tenn., and a stepbrother, James Bentley of Pulaski, Va.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 28 at Abundant Life Ministries, Lee Highway, Pulaski, Va., with the Rev. Randal Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va. There will be no visitation.
