The Radford Theatre and Relay for Life of Radford will team up next weekend for the opening of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to bring their next special event “Wall Crawl for Life.”

According to a release from Radford Theatre Manager Paul Pallante, the event will give people a chance to experience what it would be like if they had their own spider powers.  Anyone who gives a $5 donation will get a ticket to try out your wall crawling on the theater’s Velcro Wall.

Pallante also said that people will get the chance to test out their flying leaps in a Spider-Man bounce house.

Spider-Man himself will also make an appearance for photo ops, and every ticket also gets a discount on concessions for the movie, according to Pallante. “Spider-Man Alley” will be set up in the heart of downtown Radford, just 100ft from The Radford Theatre directly next to P.R. Sturgill Fine Jewelry.

The events will take place Saturday May 3 from 12 to 5 p.m., and Sunday May 4, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

More details and show times are available at www.RadfordTheatre.com or on Facebook under “Radford Theatre.”
