By CALVIN PYNN

A Pulaski County family has been affected by an isolated illness, according to an advisory released by School Superintendent Dr.  Tom Brewster.

According to a direction from the New River Health District, any Pulaski County Public Schools student running a fever should be monitored and sent home, with recommendation to see the child’s family physician.

“We have not received confirmation as to the cause of their illness, but we are taking steps to assure our schools are safe,” said Brewster.

More updates on the situation will be posted as information becomes available.

This doesn’t give many details as to what to look for other than a fever, is that the only symptom? Prayers to the family involved, it must be pretty bad for them to post this advisory.
