Pulaski County High School will present “Willy Wonka Jr.,” based on the classic Roald Dahl novel “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” which was later adapted into two successful films.
The show will include a score from Anthony Newley and Leslie Briscusse of “Jekyll and Hyde,” and “Dr. Doolittle” fame. According to the website www.broadwayworld.com, “Willy Wonka Jr.” will also feature songs from the 1971 film adaptation “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, with a special 10 a.m. performance on the final day. All tickets will be $5 at the door.
