The Free Clinic of Pulaski County will be part of GiveBigNRV, a 20th anniversary initiative of the Community Foundation of the New River Valley (CFNRV).
According to Debbie Suddarth, executive director of the Free Clinic of Pulaski County, this method is a central online giving portal designed to make it easy for the people to give to the clinic.
CFNRV is a local philanthropy dedicated to providing professional management services to donors for the charitable causes. They award visionary grants and scholarships and nurturing collaborations in the community as well.
According to Suddarth, GiveBigNRV is just one of the many services that the CRNRV offers to donors and nonprofits alike to promote charitable giving.
On April 23, donors will be able to make donations to the Free Clinic of Pulaski County through www.cfnrv.givebig.org through a simple “click and pledge” method. This way, people can donate a small amount, which, according to Suddarth, would make a huge difference to the Free Clinic.
CFNRV has set up a $1000 award for each of the top 10 recipients receiving the most pledges on April 23.
Suddarth said The Free Clinic is thrilled to be a part of this GiveBig Day and hopes to have the most clicks for the clinic and be awarded one of the $1000 prizes. She added that everyone in the community who would like to donate, can donate a small amount and it will be counted as a “click.”
“People can also donate to several of their favorite nonprofits with small $10 donations and see their donations go a long way in helping the folks in our community,” stated Debbie Suddarth, executive director.
The Free Clinic asked the whole community to review the clinic’s information and mark April 23 on their calendar and “Click and Pledge.”
