United Methodist colleges Ferrum and Emory & Henry will once again face off at Calfee Park Wednesday, April 16, in an annual baseball fundraiser for Camp Dickenson.
The Division III Panthers (17-10) and Wasps (8-15) square off at 7 p.m. at the historic park in southeast Pulaski. Emory & Henry defeated the Panthers 5-4 in last year’s game.
All proceeds from the event benefit Camp Dickenson United Methodist Church Youth Camp at Fries. The camp’s mission is to allow individuals of all ages to personally experience Christ and grow spiritually.
Ferrum and E&H students are admitted free with their IDs, as are Boy Scouts wearing their uniforms. Otherwise, admission is $4 for adults and $2 all other students.
Sponsors are Wytheville District United Methodist Men and the town of Pulaski Parks and Facilities Department. For more information, call 994-8624.
