Have a family heirloom that might be valuable, but you’re not sure?
Saturday, May 3, is your chance to find out. An “Appraisal at The Ratcliffe” fundraiser will be held that day to benefit Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum.
The public is invited to bring treasures by the museum so professional appraisers Larry Clevinger, Frank Osborne and Tony Williams can estimate their value. Appraisals cost $5 per item, with a limit of three items per person.
The event will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pulaski museum, 51 Commerce St., next to Maple Shade Plaza.
Members of The Ratcliffe’s Collection’s Committee will be on hand to discuss personal treasures submitted for appraisal and the potential of their future donation of items of local interest to the museum collection.
