Workday brings community garden to life

The long developed plans for Fairview Community Garden were put into action this past Saturday, March 22, as volunteers took the day to work on building garden beds.

According to Peggy White, the executive director of the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce, students from Pulaski County High School constructed the beds. The raised garden beds, which were constructed at wheelchair height, were then delivered to Fairview Homes, after the students worked to fill them and fix the existing raised beds.

White, as well other figures such as County Administrator Pete Huber, also helped out with the project.
