True Value welcomes customers in Dublin

Members of the community and county officials gathered at the new True Value location in Dublin last Saturday, March 22, for the store’s grand opening ceremony.

Dublin’s newest business, which opened its doors in January, is located on Cleburne Blvd., the former site of Lowes. The store is operated through Northwest Hardware, which was started in Roanoke in 1947 by Floyd Overstreet.

Overstreet’s two sons, Charles and Lee, respectively control operations and administration as the co-vice presidents of the company.

The grand opening ceremony featured an introduction speech by Charles Bopp, the assistant chair for the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors. Walter Vance, the president for Northwest Hardware, and Abhinav Shula, the senior vice president and COO of True Value, also spoke.
