Teenage murder suspect apprehended in Montgomery County

On Sunday March 16, deputies from the Montgomery County Sherriff’s office apprehended Joseph William Minoglio, 19, of Keedysville, Md.

According to a news release from the Montgomery county Sherriff’s office, Minoglio was wanted in relation to a double homicide out of Keedysville Md. Investigators from the office are working with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department in Maryland to aid in that investigation.

Minoglio was taken into custody on two charges of first-degree murder. According to the release, he also has two charges of second-degree murder, two charges of first-degree assault, and two charges of second-degree assault.

Each of these charges were out of Maryland, and he was served with a fugitive warrant out of Virginia. He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail with no bond awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
