Washington, DC — Southwest Virginians voiced their support for protections against air pollution in a new video released Wednesday by the American Lung Association in Virginia.
According to a news release from Laura Bender of the American Lung Association, the video includes footage of residents of Wise, Washington, and Montgomery Counties sharing the impact that air pollution has had on their lives. Each has a personal story to tell about their fight for healthy air, whether it’s a child with asthma, a home near a coalmine, or a family history of lung cancer.
