Although The Southwest Times makes getting information out to our readers on time our foremost priority, sometimes things don’t work out exactly as planned.
Unforeseen circumstances, such as technical difficulties in our pressroom and inclement weather, can cause the delivery of the newspaper to be delayed. Sometimes, these problems keep the paper from getting to some subscribers at all.
These problems, however, don’t have to be the end all be all. As a reminder, The Southwest Times has an up-to-date electronic edition of the newspaper available to our subscribers every day that we print.
If you are a subscriber and are missing your paper, you can access the “E-Edition” of The Southwest Times on our website. To do so, visit www.southwesttimes.com.
On the home page, click on “Premium E-Edition” on the menu bar to the far right of the screen. This will take you to a menu, which will allow you to access the subscriber E-Edition of The Southwest Times, as well as our complimentary publications, GameOn! and Senior Living.
When you click on the image of our newspaper on that page, it will take you to a page where you will be asked to enter your username and password to access the E-Edition. There is also an option on that page for a free trial if you aren’t a Southwest Times subscriber yet.
To obtain your username and password for the E-Edition, contact our circulation manager, Tonya Petty, by email at email@example.com, or call the office at 540-980-5220. Once you enter your username, you will be able to download a PDF version of that day’s issue of The Southwest Times, which will be updated on the website every day the paper is published.
Stories from each issue of The Southwest Times will be posted to the website following each publication. Each story posted online will give the reader an option to post their thoughts, questions, and more in the comments section, which is intended to be a community forum for the Pulaski County community as a whole.
For more information about the E-Edition, answers to other questions, story submissions, or any other matters related to the newspaper, call The Southwest Times office at 540-980-5220 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
