A man accused of abusing his child, who was later found dead in Draper, pleaded guilty Thursday to an unrelated charge of automobile theft.

Howard Samuel Cole, 32, was ordered to serve three years, nine months of a 15-year prison sentence in a plea agreement with the prosecution. He also will be placed on five years of probation upon release from custody, his driving privileges were suspended for 60 days, and he must reimburse Nationwide Insurance almost $2,500 in coverage paid for the automobile.

Um that isnt his sentence for the death of the baby…. if they rush to prosecute and sentence him he could get off. They are keeping him in jail. Thats a good thing. More charges will follow.
