A man convicted of more than three counts of battering family members was ordered Monday to serve six months of a two-year sentence and receive treatment for anger management and substance abuse.
Renard Marcell Davidson was facing up to two years in prison in the probation revocation hearing stemming from a July 2012 conviction of a third or subsequent offense of assault and battery on a family member. Davidson received a two-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to the charge.
