Have a business idea, but aren’t sure how to make it profitable? The Small Business Administration (SBA) has some tips for you.
SBA will host a Twitter chat Wednesday, Feb. 19, to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with advice on turning their good ideas into profitable ventures. The chat, “Startup Advice Young Entrepreneurs Love,” will take place 3-4 p.m. Eastern Time at hashtag: #sbaEweek.
The chat will be lead by Tameka Montgomeryof SBA’s Office of Entrepreneurial Development and Bridget Weston Pollack from SBA’s resource partner SCORE. They will provide tips on business plan development, obtaining startup financing and overcoming startup hurdles.
Former SBA National Young Entrepreneur award winners Dan Price, co-founder and CEO of Gravity Payments, and Genevieve Thiers, CEO and founder of Sittercity.com, will share their experiences creating successful businesses.
The event is being held during National Entrepreneurship Week, which is Feb. 15-22. While registration is not required, participants must have a Twitter account.
