Pick up your pen and get your creative juices flowing because Pulaski County Library System will soon be accepting entries in its second annual “It’s All Write” Short Story Writing Contest.
Entries can be dropped off at the Pulaski or Dublin libraries or emailed to email@example.com between Feb. 17 and March 14.
Entries will be judged in four age groups: elementary (third to fifth grade), middle school, high school and adult. Up to $250 in cash prizes will be awarded, depending upon the level of participation.
Electronic, typed or handwritten entries will be accepted, but all entries should be a minimum of one page and a maximum of 2,500 words. Electronic entries must be Microsoft Word-readable documents with a font size of 12 points.
All entries should have a title page that includes the title of the story and the age category in which it should be judged. The final page of the document should have the title, age category, name and age of author, grade and school of author (if applicable), home address, phone number(s) and email address.
