A day of Valentine fun is at the heart of activities planned for children at Pulaski County Library System next month.

Children of all ages are invited to stop by Pulaski County Library on Third Street in Pulaski anytime between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, to celebrate Valentine’s Day with special activities. Besides making Valentine-themed cards and crafts to warm the heart and soul, there will also be a tasty and toasty hot chocolate bar and other light refreshments to fight the winter chills.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there will be Story Time gatherings for children ages 12-months to five years. Dependant upon age, participating children are treated to stories, fingerplay, songs, simple crafts and more.

Preschool Story Time is held at the library system’s Dublin branch on Giles Avenue every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for ages three to five years. For those who can’t make it to the morning session, stop by the Pulaski Library at 4:30 p.m. for an encore presentation.

Toddler Story Time, for ages two to three, is held every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pulaski Library, while Tots’ Story Time, ages 12-24 months, is held Thursday’s at 10:30 a.m.

Registration for the Winter Reading Program begins Jan. 27. The program starts Feb. 1.
