CHRISTIANSBURG – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested a third person Friday afternoon in connection with a mobile methamphetamine lab found inside a bathroom at Lancer Truck Stop in Elliston earlier that day.
Capt. Brian Wright said Anita M. Mcguire, 42, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. She and her co-defendants, Kalah J. Harrison, 23, and Jackie W. Lane, 31, are being held without bond at Montgomery County Jail. All three are from Shawsville.
The investigation is continuing. Montgomery deputies found the “shake and bake” lab just after 2 a.m. Friday.
Wright said the effort was a coordinated effort by the department’s patrol, vice and investigation units.
Harrison and Lane are both charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Lane also is charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and driving suspended.
