Pulaski Police are seeking the whereabouts of a man charged with felony child abuse and his missing infant son.

Officer Megan Jennings said Howard Samuel Cole, 31, of Pulaski was last seen at the Dublin Walmart around 5 a.m. Wednesday. He was last seen in the company of his five-month-old son, Cory Samuel Cole, around 7 p.m. Monday in Pulaski.

Authorities received a report Wednesday accusing Howard Cole of having abused his son Sunday, according to Jennings. She said a felony child abuse warrant has been issued for Cole.

The infant is white, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

Jennings said Howard Cole has family in Pulaski County and also has ties to Lexington, N.C.

Anyone having information on the whereabouts of Cole and/or the child is asked to call Pulaski Police Department at 994-8680.

Is Howard’s family cooperating and helping to find this sweet little boy? Could they be hiding him?
