Local public offices, utilities and services, and banks have announced hours and closings in observance of Lee Jackson Day, Friday, Jan. 17; and Martin Luther King Day, Monday, Jan. 20.
The Pulaski County Administration, Town of Pulaski, and Town of Dublin offices will be closed both days. The Pulaski County Public Service Authority office and all drop sites will be closed on both days as well.
Pulaski County PSA has announced that garbage will be collected on a normal schedule for both days. The Pulaski Area Transit will also operate on normal hours for both holidays.
Pulaski County Public Schools, as well as the Pulaski Post Office, will remain open on Lee Jackson Day. However, both close for Martin Luther King Day.
Holiday hours for the area’s banks have also been announced. National Bank of Blacksburg (NBB), BB&T, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and StellarOne, and Carter Bank and Trust will operate normal hours for Lee Jackson Day, but will close for Martin Luther King Day.
