The Dublin branch of StellarOne Bank is doing its part to help Pulaski County United Way’s 2014 campaign drive.
Besides holding fundraisers within the bank, such as a “jeans day,” bank employees also made contributions to United Way through payroll deductions. The bank participates in the campaign annually.
StellarOne Bank has been serving the public through its Dublin branch since 1995.
Campaign funds are used to help support Pulaski County United Way’s 21 partner agencies, which provide a variety services that address county needs. United Way is supported completely by employees in local businesses, industries, governments, schools, hospitals, and by retirees.
Susan Dalrymple, local United Way executive director, called donations to the county’s United Way “a gift towards our future” that “helps make Pulaski County a better place to live.”
Those wishing to hold a United Way campaign at their business or wishing to make a personal contribution to the campaign, should call the United Way office at 980-2537 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
“We will continue to keep up our efforts to raise funds for local organizations from now through spring,” Dalrymple added. “To all of the individuals and companies that have already supported Pulaski County United Way programs … we thank you for ‘living united’ for a stronger community.”
