Three subjects have been arrested in connection with Monday morning’s shooting incident in the 100 Block of East Main Street in Radford, according to a press release sent out by Chief of Police Don Goodman.
According to a press release from the Radford City Police Department, those subjects are Kevin Dale Scott Sheppard, 21, Clinton Wade Dillion, 25, and Tonio Donavalle Belcher-Wade, 19 – all from Radford. All suspects were taken into custody Monday evening without incident.
According to the release, all three suspects have been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, burglary, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Dillon is also being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The incident is under investigation after Radford Police and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched Monday morning in response to a shooting.
Personnel found a 48-year-old white male bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
The victim and witnesses stated two armed subjects entered the apartment and demanded money. A struggle ensued, and the weapon was fired.
The victim was transported to New River Valley Medical Center and received several stitches to the head wound. No others were injured.
The three subjects are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail without bond.
