Louise Ann Ratcliffe Hagee

Louise Ann Ratcliffe Hagee, age 85, of Pulaski, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski. She was born Oct. 28, 1928 in Pulaski to the late Dennis Lankford Ratcliffe and Mozelle King Ratcliffe. She married the love of her life, John Thomas Hagee Sr. on Aug. 21, 1943. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary before he passed away, Feb. 16, 1994. Her brothers, Winifred, Rodney and Buddy Ratcliffe, and brother-in-law, Jerry Gregory also preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong member of the Bob White Blvd. Church of God, where she taught Sunday school for 65 years. She won the Teacher of the Year award in 1969. She was involved in raising money for the missions and her church all of her life. Her church family, her family and friends and God have always been the most important things in her life. She accepted the Lord at the age of 14. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be missed very much.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John Thomas “Cotton” Hagee Jr. and Sherry Hagee of Dublin; daughter and son-in-law, Janice Hagee Wyatt and Millard Franklin Wyatt of Pulaski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dreama and Milford Whitaker of Greensboro, N.C., Linda and Sterling Kinser of Pulaski, and Judy Gregory of Pulaski; five granddaughters, Crystal Renae White and husband, Chris, of Paris, Ill., Barbara Sarver and fiancé, Max Orren, of Dublin, Carolyn Buckner and husband, Pastor Sherman Buckner of Pilot Mountain, N.C., Pam Jones and husband, Mike, of Pulaski, and Patricia Miller and husband, Dwight, of Pulaski; two grandsons, Jonathan Hagee of Dublin, and Frankie Wyatt and wife, Lisa, of Baltimore, Md.; eleven great-grandsons, John Christian White of Tulane University, New Orleans, La., Christopher Wymer of Lynchburg, Joe Harris of Roanoke, Bryan Roberson of Pulaski, Scottie Roberson of Pulaski, Chandler Wyatt and Kristen Wyatt of Baltimore, Bradley Sarver and wife, Mariah, of Pulaski, Tyler Bowers and Fiancée, Dana Kaylor of Bristol, Va., and Isaac Buckner and Justin Buckner of Christiansburg; five great-granddaughters, Courtney Renae Dick and husband,  Andrew, of Paris, Ill., Brittany Wymer and fiancé, Tommy Wojcik of Pulaski, Jessica Pickett and fiancé, Grant Adkins III, of Pulaski, and Taylor Miller and Tiffani Miller of Pulaski; five great-great Grandchildren, Silas Dick of Paris,Ill., Kaden Hatch of Pulaski, Kolton Wojcik and Nadalee Wojcik of Pulaski, and Lilly Sarver of Pulaski, and her special dogs that she loved dearly, Gabby,  Emma and Tinker Bell.

She was called Granny Weezie by most of her grandkids and they loved her famous macaroni and cheese and fried apple pies and cakes.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9 at Bob White Blvd. Church of God, Pulaski with the Rev. Jerry Collins and Pastor Sherman Buckner officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until service time at the church.

Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
