Lady Dukes remain unbeaten through 15 games

Special to the SWT

The Dublin Middle School Lady Dukes just completed week four of their basketball season on Wednesday night at their home gym in Dublin.

Week four found the Lady Dukes defeating three teams in what turned out to be a very busy week.

It all started on Monday night with a big win over Scott Memorial, 36-10.  Tuesday night saw the Lady Dukes hosting Andrew Lewis.  The result was a 39-9 declawing of the Wolverines.  Wednesday night was a little more competitive, with the Lady Dukes defeating Blacksburg 32-15.

Three consecutive nights … three big wins over what are normally three quality opponents by at least 24 points each.

Obviously, the Lady Dukes are on fire.

That is some serious basketball in any league, anywhere, anytime. If you haven’t seen the Dublin girls play,  you are missing a serious athletic treat.  These games are high energy, high octane, and wide open.  It’s a good evening’s entertainment to say the least.

The Dublin Middle School Lady Dukes are now 15-0 on the season, a grand accomplishment in itself. Congratulations to Coach Farris and Assistant Coach Jackie Artison.

Dublin Middle School will return to action on December 10 against Pulaski Middle school, at DMS.  Tip off for the first game is set for 4:30 p.m.
