Sarah Bradbury named managing editor for the Southwest Times

In her new role as managing editor, Mrs. Bradbury will oversee the editorial department of the Southwest Times. Her office focuses on reporting community news, court news, community events and assigning stories and duties to reporters and contributors to the newspaper.

“Mrs. Bradbury has lived in Pulaski nearly her entire life and is well informed regarding local issues. Sarah has excellent writing skills, and is uniquely suited to anticipate needed news coverage, direct a staff and oversee reporting responsibilities,” said Susan Carter, publisher of the Southwest Times.

Mrs. Bradbury received her degree from Old Dominion University.

Travis Handy, former managing editor, is leaving the position due to a family relocation. “Travis improved the organization of the news department as well as design and content, and I feel certain Sarah will take the department to the next level,” Carter said.

Mrs. Bradbury resides in Pulaski with her husband Chris and their three children Jackson, Lucas and Jonathan.

We welcome Sarah to the Southwest Times, and she can be reached at 980-5220, or by emailing sarah@southwesttimes.com.
