Christiansburg – Those who are in business and own an iPad, or those who feel they understand the basics but want to take it to the next level are invited to bring their iPads to this hands-on workshop, and discover tips and tricks. Participants will learn to develop documents and presentations, learn about cloud services, iOS 7 changes and features, and develop dexterity with the iPad operating system. They will also discover advanced keyboard and mail features. Those who own an iPad for personal use but feel they are missing out on lots of features and apps are also welcome to participate in this educational event.
Sandy Ratliff with the Virginia Department of Business Assistance and the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development will be leading the event at the iPad Specifics Workshop Thursday, Oct. 31 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Room MP02, Christiansburg. She will offer tips on how to use the iPad effectively for business or personal use as well as suggest the best and most powerful apps of the 375,000 that are available for increasing productivity.
