Bonnie Sue Shinault Goad

Bonnie Sue Shinault Goad, 73, of Christiansburg, died on Saturday, September 28, 2013, in the LewisGale Hospital Montgomery.  She was born on May 4, 1940 in Pulaski and was the daughter of the late Buford and Callie White Shinault.  She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters including her twin brother, Donnie Shinault.

Surviving are her loving husband of 29 years, Linford Goad; stepson, Clifford Elray Goad and his fiancée, Kim Broyles; grandsons, Scott and Bradley Goad; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ellen Shinault; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Christine Worrell, Beulah Shinault, Garfield and Mary Elizabeth Goad, City Boyer, Nancy Goad, and Estelle Dickerson, and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Solly Overstreet and the Rev. Richie Goad officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Visiting will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
