Walter Pyott Wyrick Jr.

Walter Pyott Wyrick left this realm of life Sept. 25, 2013 to join those who left before him, father, mother and sister, and friends. Born Sept. 29, 1930 in Dublin, to Fary and Walter Wyrick Sr; a graduate of Virginia Tech.

SMSG W.P. Wyrick gave his career life to the US Air Force and his natural life to his family and friends.  He is survived by his wife, Catherine Jean Wyrick; sons, James Dean Wyrick, Mark Richard Wyrick and wife Karen Wyrick, Jonathon Michael Wyrick and Dane Alan Wyrick; seven grandchildren, Dawn, Melissa, Michael, Jasmine, Andrew, Ryan, and Haley.

Wyrick touched the lives of countless individuals across the globe. He was a master craftsman, an avid fisherman and marksman, and the most amazing and incredible father and husband one could ever imagine.

We will always and forever love and miss you, Papa, and never forget it. Thank you for being our rock in the storm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Lakewood, Wash.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.  Concluding service and burial will follow the service scheduled for 2:15 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery.
