The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley (FACNRV) is pleased to announce the nomination of two instructors from New River Jujitsu into the USA International Black Belt Hall of Fame. Master Richard A. Anderton and Sensei Daniel P. Asher were nominated by Soke Robert Stines Jr.

Master Richard A. Anderton is nominated for his outstanding contribution to martial arts and Sensei Daniel P. Asher is nominated for Black Belt Instructor of the Year. New River Jujitsu classes are part of FACNRV’s educational offerings.

The classes were started by Master Richard A. Anderton in September of 2012. New River Jujitsu doesn’t just teach martial arts, but uses it as a tool for learning and practicing the art of being a more complete, proactive, and empowered human being. The classes, which are for all ages, have done extremely well.

Join FACNRV in congratulating Master Richard A. Anderton and Sensei Daniel P. Asher for their tremendous accomplishments and contributions to martial arts, and wish them the best at the 26th 2013 Global Leadership Conference and USA International Black Belt Hall of Fame in November. Both Anderton and Asher are residents of Pulaski County.

For more information on Jujitsu classes, contact Master Richard A. Anderton at 540-230-5845.
