Pulaski County Public Service Authority (PSA) has opened a new “brush only” disposal site for yard waste off Route 99 in the town of Pulaski.
The brush site is behind the former Verizon building (the future home of Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office) and Hot Wheels car dealership. The site is accessed via the portion of Lafayette Avenue that passes between Hot Wheels and the former Verizon building.
This drop site is strictly limited to brush, limbs, yard waste, and other similar materials. Absolutely no trash or garbage will be accepted at this site.
Assistant County Administrator Robert Hiss said the site will be immediately shut down if it becomes littered with garbage.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 3-7 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., during daylight saving time. When daylight saving time ends Nov. 3, hours will be 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
