Virginia’s commerce secretary is slated to be in town today for what is being touted as the “largest economic development announcement for downtown Pulaski in a decade.”
James Cheng, Virginia’s secretary of commerce and trade, will be at Pulaski Train Station this afternoon to announce “a new company locating to town, creating many new jobs in a vacant building,” according to a media advisory from Thomas Becher, senior vice president of the advertising firm, Neathawk Dubuque & Packett.
Cheng is to be joined by Delegate Nick Rush (R-12th District), local officials and representatives of the new company.
