Thomas Hoge Wheeling

Thomas Hoge Wheeling, age 71, of Barren Springs, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. He was a retired truck driver with Overnite Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis A. and Dora M. Wheeling, and granddaughters, Robin M. Cox and Ashley N. Carden. 

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy W. and Randy Horton of Hillsville, Hope W. and Tony Reeves Sr., of Pulaski and Crystal Wheeling Cox of Radford; granddaughters, Amanda Delph and husband Billy of Radford, Kristy Cox Dalton and husband, Shane, of Draper, Santana W. Bell and husband, B.J. Bell, of Rural Retreat, and Kimberly Carden of Radford; 14 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Alice Wheeling Jenkins and husband, Heillen, of McLeansville, N.C., and nephew, Craig Pierce Montgomery of Pulaski.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 2 until 3 p.m. at the Pulaski Christian Church with Bishop W. David Hoover officiating. A graveside service will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Brenner Children’s Hospital, Wake Forest Baptist, P.O. Box 571021, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27157-1021.
