A town of Pulaski sewer pipe that was washed out by flooding in early July is back in service.
Gravity flow was restored Friday to the 10-inch aerial pipe, which crosses Peak Creek in the Dora Highway area, according to Pulaski Town Manager John Hawley. A tally of the repair costs was not available at press time.
The town hired Meade Contracting of Dublin in mid-July to make the repairs on an actual hours worked basis. Town crews and equipment assisted to keep the cost down.
Sewage was pumped around the site while the pipe was repaired.
