It won’t be long before frost is on the pumpkin, so it’s time to start thinking about Halloween.
Greater Pulaski Alliance and the town of Pulaski are seeking businesses and organizations willing to volunteer time and/or provide treats to children on this year’s Halloween Treat Trail. The trail will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 3:30-7 p.m.
Barbi Tate said this “worthwhile event” is a “great” opportunity for businesses and organizations to build awareness among local residents.
Each year, around 100 town businesses and organization take part in the event by purchasing candy or other treats to hand out to trick-or-treating children. In order to help children follow the “trail,” maps are prepared pinpointing the participating businesses and the hours during which treats will be available at each location.
