The Pulaski County High School Golf Association will be holding their seventh annual Par Three Tournament at Pulaski Country Club on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Prizes for first, second, and third place teams will be awarded as well as prizes for closest to the pin on all 18 holes.
The success of the tournament has been growing over the last six years. “Last year we had 30 teams who played. The support given by the community and Pulaski Country Club has been incredible,” said Shelia Smith, treasurer for the association.
Entry fee will be $140 per team with mulligans at $5 per player, maximum of four per team. Anyone can play, however all registrations must be in by noon on Friday. Signup sheets are available at Pulaski Country Club. Call 980-5851 for further information.
Sponsorships will also be offered. There will be two levels of sponsorships, which are named to match the school colors. Cardinal level at $200 will include team entry and hole sponsorship. Gold level at $250 will include team entry and tournament sponsorship. All sponsorships include both a team entry and a hole sponsorship. All sponsors are recognized during the course of the event.
The PCHS Golf Association invites you to enjoy a day of fun, fellowship and only four hours of golf Saturday, Aug. 24. There will be prizes offered to the first, second and third place winners, including foursomes of golf, at Pete Dye River Course, Ballyhack Golf Club and Draper Valley Golf Club. Additionally this year the association is offering a special raffle for a foursome of golf at Primland, located in Meadows of Dan.
Rental carts will be available and a meal will be provided by Pulaski Country Club after play, which will include barbecue, hot dogs and chili, slaw, chips and beans. Parents will be preparing desserts.
