CHRISTIANSBURG – Christiansburg authorities have arrested two men for allegedly soliciting sex with minors through the Internet.
The arrests were the result of two separate investigations by Christiansburg Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit.
According to Christiansburg spokeswoman Becky Wilburn, John J. Krepich, 46, of Frackville, Pa. is charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a minor via the Internet and one count of procuring sex of a minor. He was arrested Wednesday and is being held without bond at Western Virginia Regional Jail.
Richard G. Dunaway, 36, of Foster, Ohio also is being held at the jail without bond, Wilburn said. He is charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a minor via the Internet.
All charges are Class 6 felonies that carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $2,500 fine.
Christiansburg Police Department is part of the Southern Virginia (SOVA) ICAC Task Force.
