The annual Day revival at Family Worship Center, 955 Memorial Drive, Pulaski, will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Aug. 13-15, beginning at 11 a.m. each day.
The public is invited to these special services and to feed on the Gospel. Following the services everyone is invited to a meal in the church fellowship hall, courtesy of the church family.
The Rev. Edward W. Wood will preach Tuesday, the Rev. Harvey Carrico on Wednesday, and the Rev. Don Weaver on Thursday. The Anchormen will sing Thursday. Special music will be featured during the other services.
Wood has served as a pastor, in various capacities in the Virginia (Appalachian) Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, and in a denominational position at IPHC headquarters in Oklahoma City.
Upon his retirement he and his wife relocated to Dublin. His son and one of his daughters are involved in ministry in North Carolina and through the Appalachian Conference.l
Carrico, retired from pastoring, was licensed in 1984 and ordained in 1986, pastored a number of local churches. He now resides in Galax.
Weaver, a credentialed minister with the Church of God, pastored in Pulaski prior to his retirement.
Dr. C.R. Conner, pastor of Family Worship Center, cordially invites the pubic to these services, which offer retired senior citizens an opportunity to worship and fellowship without having to be out at night.
