Pulaski County Board of Supervisors no longer has a goal of using the former TMD Friction Building for a wellness center.
While that may come as bad news to those who supported conversion of the 160,000-square-foot building into a recreational facility, it may lift their spirits to know the move could be a good sign for the local economy.
County Administrator Peter Huber told the board that its unanimous vote to remove a TMD wellness center from its list of four-year goals makes sense in light of the fact there is “an active prospect looking at the building.”
Could that mean more jobs are on the horizon for Pulaski County?
