Lillian Hayes Wheeler Moore

Lillian Hayes Wheeler Moore, age 87 of Draper, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski.              

Born March 3, 1926 in Helen, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Monroe Hayes and Celia Ruth Haga Hayes. Her husband, Leaton Moore; one son, Gregory Leaton Moore, and brother, Jack Hayes, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Charlene Dean Wheeler of Palatka, Fla.; grandchildren, Kyle Wheeler and wife, Natalie Wheeler, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ashley Tucker and husband, Dan Tucker, of Middleburg, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, April, Jeffery and Bryan; one great-great-granddaughter, Ravyn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Hayes and Garnett Hayes of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Richard Haynes Sr. of Pulaski, and Bruce Hayes and Barbara Hayes of Richmond, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 22, 11 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Pastor Willie Overton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

The family will be meeting at the home of Dickie and Pam Hayes at 5320 Cougar Circle, Dublin.

The family would like to thank Pulaski Health & Rehab and Pulaski Hospital for their caring service given during their time of need.
