Lois Ann Vaughn Wright

Lois Ann Vaughn Wright, 72, of Hiwassee, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home.  She was born in Carroll County July 4, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Glenn Vaughn and Mary Isom Vaughn.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Vaughn; a grandson, Dustin, and her husband, Carl C. Wright.  Mrs. Wright was a member of the Allisonia Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired cook with Highland Ridge Rehab Center.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Buck Patton; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Amanda Wright; step-daughters, Sherri King, Diane Martin, and Margaret and husband, Wayne Epperly; sisters, Bonnie Hill, Agnus Nash, and Betty Jo Mabe; brother, Carroll Vaughn; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was expecting a great-great-grandchild in August.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour.

    My heart is sad to hear of Lois’s passing. In your lifetime you Meet some people that touch a special place in your Heart And from the first time we spoke I knew I had a friend. She wuaI want thiss a special lady and will be missed. I will always have Her memory in a special place in my heart.. I’m very sorry for your loss
