Lois Ann Bishop Hearn, age 89, of Dublin, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013.
She was born and raised in the Mt. Tabor area of Montgomery County and was the daughter of the late Jacob Abraham Bishop and Flora Belle Oliver Bishop. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David W. Hearn Sr.; two sisters, Alma Bishop and Dainty Hutchinson, and two brothers, Jacob Bishop and Tobias Bishop.
Mrs. Hearn was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and had many fond memories of the family farm where she was raised.
Surviving are her children, Tom Hearn of Pulaski, Bill and Nancy Hearn of Dublin, Peggy Hearn of Dublin and Jean Hearn of Christiansburg.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 1 p.m., in Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until the service hour at Bower Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff of LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski, and the staff of Highland Ridge Rehab Center for their care and support of Mrs. Hearn. Appreciation is also extended to Dr. Kenneth Pendergrast and his staff for their care.
