Learn to use e-readers and tablets

Have an e-reader or tablet-style computer, but not sure how to use it?

If so, Radford Public Library has a workshop for you.

The library, 30 W. Main St., will hold a workshop Wednesday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to noon to help participants learn how to use e-readers such as a Kindle, Nook or Kobo, and tablets such as an iPad, Galaxy Tab or Kindle Fire.

The instruction will include how to use e-readers and tablets to access library books and other materials.

Virginia Tech librarians Rebecca Miller, Carolyn Meier, and Kiri Goldbeck DeBose and Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library Technology Petting Zoo Coordinator Chris Elledge will provide instruction.

Participants are welcome to bring their own device or use one of the devices the presenters will bring.
