Baseball return to Calfee Park Wednesday, April 17, as Division III teams from two United Methodist colleges face off in an annual fundraiser to benefit Camp Dickenson. The first pitch is at 7 p.m.

The event pits the 10-20 Ferrum College Panthers against the 8-15 Emory & Henry Wasps. Last year’s game was rained out and not rescheduled.

All proceeds from the event benefit Camp Dickenson United Methodist Church Youth Camp at Fries. The camp’s mission is to allow individuals of all ages to personally experience Christ and grow spiritually.

Scouts who come to the game in uniform will be admitted free, as will Ferrum and E&H students who present student IDs. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for other students.

Wytheville District United Methodist Men and the town of Pulaski Parks and Facilities Department are sponsors. For more information, call 994-8624.
