Pulaski County Board of Supervisors voted 3-2 tonight to increase the county real estate tax rate by 5 cents per $100 of value, thus increasing the current 54-cent rate to 59 cents.
County Administrator Peter Huber recommended a 6-cent increase, but Draper District Supervisor Dean Pratt made a motion for a 5-cent increase instead. The motion was seconded by Massie District Supervisor Andy McCready. Ingles District Supervisor Ranny O’Dell and Robinson District Supervisor Charles Bopp cast the dissenting votes.
